Chang Díaz & Associates was founded by Ronald Chang Díaz (as President) in 1994. Its first office was located in Escazú. Approximately one year later, his brother Norman Chang Díaz came on board to join the company as General Manager. At this time, the legal name is finally consolidated to Chang Díaz & Associates.

In 2003, Vinicio Moya González joined the company as Project Manager. Then in the year 2006, Norman Chang assumes the President’s chair and Vinicio Moya the Vice-Presidency. At this time, and after five years of service, civil engineer Andrés Zuñiga joins as partner and takes on the Projects General Manager Position.
